Gospel singer Alex Apoko, popularly known as Ringtone might have to spend some nights out in the cold after getting kicked out of the posh home that was renting.
Reports indicate that he had agreed to pay Sh200,000 a month when he leased the posh house that is situated on Muiri Gardens in Karen.
However, the “Tenda Wema” singer has not honoured his end of the deal for the last two months, forcing the owners of the property to take action.
A termination of lease letter from an advocate representing the owners and addressed to Ringtone states that he has been he has been taking their client in circles. This, the lawyer said, does not augur well their client.
“Numerous requests by our client through his agent have been made for you to honour our obligations under the agreement in the last several weeks in vain and to date. You have not given any concrete proposals on how you intend to pay the said arrears and regularize the default” the letter reads in part.
It also states that his tenancy had been terminated with immediate effect and he has 7 days to come up with the amount or face legal action.
