Reports have it that rising singer, Adekunle Gold may be saying farewell to YBNL soon as his contract is going to expire in the next few months. Sources state that the Pick Up crooner is planning on floating his own label to be known as Gold Records.
This is development is coming on the heels of Lil Kesh’s exit from YBNL which happened on mutual terms upon the expiration of his recording contract.
According to a report by The Herald, a source confirmed the story of Adekunle Gold‘s imminent departure after he his album drops in June.
The source stated, “After his album drops in June, Kunle may leave YBNL to focus on his own label too”.
It has been gathered that YBNL boss, Olamide, provides music artistes signed under his label imprint an opportunity to leave when their two-year record deal expires as a means of empowering them.
