Anne Kiguta is the latest celebrity mother in town. We are talking twin here!
Citizen TV’s Anne Kiguta has given birth to twins. A boy and a girl.
According to reliable sources, Kiguta gave birth to the twins on Friday, July 1 at the Nairobi hospital. Her delivery was kept hushed and no photos have been posted on social media as yet.
The Citizen TV news anchor is now a mother of three. Two daughters and a son. Her eldest is a daughter from her previous relationship. Uncomfirmed reports have it that her baby daddy, Jomo Gecaga has taken a paternity leave from State House following the birth of the twins.
One of the twins, sources allege, has been named after a prominent Kenyan who is close to Uhuru Kenyatta’s Chief of Staff.
At a recent James Bond movie screening, Kiguta walked in, dressed in shimmering gown hand in hand with her rumoured prince charming – Gecaga, Uhuru Kenyatta’s nephew and also Chief of Staff at State House.
The two have neither confirmed nor denied their relationship. What is known is the fact that the two don’t live together despite being showing for most functions together.
Kiguta and Gecaga were said to have been dating over a year before the relationship took a family angle.
Before she went to Citizen TV as a news anchor, Kiguta revealed that she was in an abusive relationship with her ex-lover . One time, she narrated, she had to go on air fighting tears while concealing a black eye received after a nasty argument.
Gecaga, who is probably Uhurus’s favorite nephew was the head of the team that championed Uhuru’s 2013 election campaigns. A graduate of Eton College in Windsor, Berkshire, Gecaga has more than just a feather in his hat.
He is a former personal assistant to the former Foreign Affairs Minister, Raphael Tuju.
