American artiste Ciara on Wednesday tied the knot with her American football beau Russell Wilson in a star studded destination wedding.
Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Wilson, exchanged their vows at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England in front of family and friends.
The bride wore a custom Roberto Cavalli dress, designed by her friend Peter Dundas who serves as the fashion house’s creative director.
Wilson had in March this year engaged his then singer girlfriend in March while in the Seychelles.
The two confirmed their nuptials on all their social media platforms with a photo captioned, “We are the Wilsons.”
At a private affair that took place yesterday, guests were asked to hand over their phones to avoid any photos of the wedding leaking as they made their way to Peckforton castle in Liverpool, England where the ceremony was held.
The couple who got engaged this year in March while on vacation, exchanged vows before around 100 invited guests who included Ciara’s friends, Kelly Rowland and Jennifer Hudson.
In a beautiful Robert Cavalli gown designed specifically for the occasion, the singer took to her social media to break the news officially.
‘’We are the Wilsons!’’ The 30 year old singer captioned the shot.
In a Snapchat video posted on Thursday (July 7) from London, the 30-year-old singer jokes about their plans for the evening.
“So baby, you know what we’re doing tonight,” Ciara asks and Russell replies, “From what we did last night, I’m gonna do it multiple times.”
“He sure wasn’t lying,” Ciara says in another clip with a wink to the camera.
