ODM has coughed some serious cash to hire one of East Africa’s greatest artists as the main guest singer during the party’s 10th-anniversary celebrations. The party has revealed Bongo Flava artist Nasib Abdul Juma aka Diamond Plantnumz will be the main artist during the jamboree. ODM has also hired and branded vehicles which will be flagged from Mombasa to each of the 47 counties of the republic to ferry delegates to the meeting.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has gone out of its way in its attempt to rival the Jubilee Party launch by hiring a famous artist as the guest singer during a planned rally in Mombasa.
Bongo Flava artist Nasib Abdul Juma aka Diamond Plantnumz will be the main singer during the ODM 10th anniversary bash to be held on Saturday, September 10 in Mombasa.
The artist is expected to jet into the country from the US and entertain guests during the merry-making to mark ODM’s existence.
According to the party’s Director of Elections MP Junet Mohamed, the night bash will conclude a long day of activities planned in an attempt to rival the Jubilee Party launch to happen the same day in Kasarani, Nairobi.
“In the evening, there shall be a celebratory procession on Mama Ngina drive where international award-winning music artist Diamond will jet in from the US to entertain guests in what is billed to be an evening to remember not just for Mombasa but Kenyans at large. The night will conclude with a dramatic fireworks display that promises to leave Kenyans breathless,” said Junet in a statement.
In trying to copy its rival Jubilee Party, ODM has also hired and branded vehicles which will be flagged from Mombasa to each of the 47 counties of the republic.
These buses will provide transport to party delegates from all over Kenya to participate in the jamboree.
