Gospel singer Kevin Bahati sparked a heated debate after sitting on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s seat during the launch of the Jubilee Party at Kasarani Stadium on Saturday.
While performing, the musician somehow ‘tricked’ the President to leave his seat and join him on stage for a jig.
He later went back and sat on the President’s seat where he serenaded First lady Margaret Kenyatta with the lyrics of his single Mama.
All this while, President Uhuru Kenyatta was left standing on stage awkwardly – and this has not gone down well with some social media users.
While some faulted him for disrespecting the presidency reason being he unseated Uhuru and even went as far as stepping on his table, others made fun of how the gospel singer sat on the seat before Raila Odinga.
