Gospel singer Gloria Mwikali was laid to rest in Mumbuni Village in Mwingi Sub-County, Kitui County on Thursday, December 8.
Gloria Mwikali died on Sunday, November 27 following a road accident in Ngoliba area, Kiambu County.
Gloria Mwikali is survived by an 11-year-old daughter. She was a single-mother.

Speaking at Mwikali’s funeral, Music Copyright Society of Kenya Chairman Lazarus Muli warned the Kenya Film Classification Board CEO Ezekiel Mutua against meddling in the affairs of Kenyan musicians.
Mr Muli said Mutua’s proposal to ban certain artistes’ stage names is uncalled for.
Mr Muli emphasised to Mutua that musicians have their own welfare leaders, and that Mutua should not over-step his span of control.
Mutua on November 11, 2016 said some songs are not worth listening to, given their lyrics; and went ahead to ban certain fictitious names.
