Former Capital FM presenter Grace Makosewe was found dead on Wednesday, October 26, in her house in Ngumo, Nairobi.
The body of the former radio girl was first discovered by her cousin who alerted the police.
Details of what exactly killed Makosewe are still scanty.
Grace is remembered for her charming voice on Capital FM’s Jam 98.7 where she hosted the morning show alongside others.
She would later leave Capital FM for Kisumu-based Urban Radio as a DJ.
Upon her death, Capital FM shared a video of Makosewe in the show where her colleagues were interviewing her.
Makosewe gave an account of her life, where she was born, grew up and where she schooled.
She was lively during this video recorded interview that was also airing on Capital FM.
One of her colleagues asked her something about her death.
“The good Lord is about to take you today and he is saying this is your last day, what would be your last meal,” Grace was asked.
She gently said she would prefer Ugali, Fish and Osuga (sic).
“My last meal… it has to be some Osuga, some Fish and some Ugali,” she responded.
