Jamaican star Romain Virgo arrived in the country yesterday, Thursday 15 as he gears up to return for his performance with The Unit Band on September 24.


Yesterday Morning Nairobi Governor hosted Jamaican artist Romain Virgo in his office. The two had a light chart that involved empowering the youth.

Virgo, who is known for his chart-topping hit ‘’Rich in Love” was welcomed by Nairobi’s governor Evans Kidero who confessed to be a great fan of his music.

The governor described Romain as a gifted artist. He also revealed his favourite song by the singer- 2012 hit “Everlasting Love” from the Tropical Escape Riddim.



The singer made a short stopover in Kenya as he is headed to Zimbabwe, Harare for a concert on Saturday 17.

The 26-year-old will then head back to Kenya for his much-anticipated concert at the KICC Grounds in Nairobi and later a meet and greet at the Space lounge in Ngong Road where he will interact directly with his fans.

Romain is known for his other hits among them Love Doctor Soul Provider, I Wanna Go Home, Love Sick and We No Worry Bout Them.
