The beauty queen who represented Kenya at the just concluded Little Miss Kenya was involved in an accident. Azura Wangui Hale who is 8-years-old, represented the country in the Little Miss World competition which took place from September 24 to October 1.


The pageant saw competitors from 37 countries represented, with Kenya being among four African countries. The Gala show was themed ancient Greek with all the children dressed in white tunics with a touch of gold and danced to Greek music.

Azura was crowned Little Miss Kenya because of her bubbly nature and smart wit.
The judges said, Azura is a “girl full of positive energy and laughter. She is confident and has great passion for acting.”
According to a press release, Azura was crowned Princess Mini Miss World in the talent category. Her talent presentation in the form of a monologue stood out. Her emotional expression moved the crowd. 14666326_1765128840419234_2256891208975701653_n-1

Recently, she was involved in a minor car accident and had to undergo surgery at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi.

In a post on her Facebok Page, Azura informed her fans about the unfortunate incident.

She wrote,

“I’ve been in hospital all day after an accident this morning. Waiting to go to surgery for stitches this evening. Wish me well.”

Thankfully, the surgery was a success and Azura is recovering.In anther post, she informed her fans that she is doing well after surgery.
