Mary J. Blige’s estranged husband, Martin Isaacs, is demanding a monthly upkeep of $129,319 (KSh13.1 million) from the singer while they discuss their divorce, says TMZ.
Martin filed for temporary spousal support, and according to the documents obtained by the entertainment website, he thinks $129,319 per month is nice.
Martin’s argument for arriving at the figure is pretty simple: Mary was the breadwinner during their 12-year marriage and got him used to their lavish lifestyle.
He says Mary earned anywhere from $1.5 million (KSh152 million) to $5.1 million (KSh517 million) over the last 2 years. Martin used to be Mary J. Blige’s manager.
Martin, who claims he has zero income since Mary fired him shortly after she filed for divorce, now says his singer ex is currently on tour with an album about to drop.
