Music lovers will be in for a treat when World Renowned Zimbabwean musician, popularly known as ‘Tuku’, Oliver Mtukudzi takes the stage at the Acacia Premier Hotel, Kisumu this Saturday the 17th of September.
While the famous musician is not new to Kenya, this will be his first performance in the Lake Side City of Kisumu and outside the City of Nairobi. The event will feature performances by Kisumu born Musician Suzzana Owiyo and Comedian and Radio Personality MC Jalang’o.
Known for his song ‘Todi’, Tuku began performing as early as 1977 when he joined the Wagon Wheels, a band that also featured Thomas Mapfumo, known for his husky voice, he has become the most recognized voice to emerge from Zimbabwe and onto the international scene and he has earned a devoted following across Africa and beyond.

I am excited particularly to be performing in Kisumu for the first time as I have heard great things about the city.
