Mystery has surrounded the whereabouts of Pauline Kalonzo the wife of Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
Reports have emerged that the wife of an opposition politician is ailing from an undisclosed condition that has forced her to be away from the spotlight.
Pauline was last seen in public in 2015 when she was admitted to Nairobi Hospital.
According to the Nairobian, Pauline was first admitted on December 29 after doctors advised her to undergo further checks.
Kalonzo’s wife is a senior employee at the Central Bank of Kenya and after being discharged from Nairobi Hospital went abroad to seek further treatment.
Pauline had also missed her son Klein Kalonzo’s graduation from the University of Nairobi School of Journalism and Media Studies.
Kalonzo and Pauline have been married since 1985 and the couple has four children.
