Gospel singer Size 8 on Monday September 4, 2017 shared the news on social media that she is now the proud owner of a brand new toy worth KSh 7 million, a Jaguar XF.
That was confirmed after she was spotted the next day driving the vehicle to Local Productions the SuperSport and MNet HQ, where she has a new show by the name Pambio Live.
“God is Faithful again but this time to my wife @size8reborn -it’s a testimony !!! Thank you RMA team (the official Jaguar and Range/land rovers dealers in East Africa. They have the best and quality cars – just gotten a brand new JAGUAR XF – full option – 0 milleage worth 7M and they are approachable, affordable and reliable . Get the experience – get them on their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @rmakenya,” the singer’s husband DJ Mo captioned the below photogrid on Instagram.
But even before I continue, doesn’t the above read like an advertisement copy?
Don’t believe everything you hear though as Zipo.co.ke has learnt that its all hogwash, Size 8 is not the real owner of the car, not even its side mirrors. Word has it that RMA, the local distributor of Land Rover and Jaguar products, is paying the gospel singer to drive the Jaguar for the sole purpose of advertising it to the local market. They are creating the impression that she bought it.
Guys at Ghafla decided to dig deeper to find out if indeed the rumours were true or not. A search for KCH 065T on National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) website backed the claims.
RMA Motors (Kenya) Limited are the current owner of the wine red KCH 065T Jaguar XF 2016. The name Linet Masiro Munyali (Size 8’s government name) neither his husband Sammy Muraya aka DJ Mo appear anywhere.
Here is the evidence:
