British Fashion icon, Victoria Caroline Beckham, jetted into the country on Thursday October 6 to support First lady Margaret Kenyatta’s Beyond Zero Campaign.
Victoria, who is the wife of star footballer David Beckham, attended a Beyond Zero function at Ngarariga Chief’s Camp, Kiambu County.
Mrs Beckham, who was accompanied by her son, Brooklyn, were warmly welcomed by First lady of Kiambu County Mrs. Philemona Kabogo.
Mrs Beckham took to her Instagram page and praised the First lady for her good initiative for promoting maternal, newborn and child health in Kenya.

British fashion sensation Victoria Caroline Beckham, who is in the country to support the fight against HIV/Aids, got down to ohang’lain Kisumu Friday.
Victoria – who is married to English football sensation, David Beckham – entertained the audience at Kisumu General Hospital when she rose and danced alongside a local during a function to celebrate strides made in reducing mother to child transmission of HIV.
50 children, whose parents are HIV positive, successfully graduated from a two-year program aimed at stopping mother to child transmission of the deadly virus after testing negative for HIV.
Speaking at the Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma’s office before the function Mrs Beckham, who is a UNAIDS goodwill ambassador, pledged support for the county’s fight against the virus.
The 42-year-old Briton was welcomed by Kisumu County First Lady Olivia Ranguma.
