Chris Brown might not like Africa after a fan, whose phone smashed demands that Brown compensates her luxury gadget. Brown reportedly hurled the phone to the floor when the smitten female fan attempted to take a selfie with him shortly after he landed.
It has been reported widely that Chris Brown was involved in a nasty day-light drama shortly after landing in Mombasa aboard a private jet. Brown who is supposed to perform in Mombasa alongside Wizkid and other international artists is said to have smashed a phone belonging to a Kenyan woman.
Brown reportedly hurled an I-phone 6’s to the ground, smashing it to smithereens. The owner of the phone who has since demanded an apology from the singer says that she bought the phone for KSh 90,000.
Probably, KSh, 90,000 is the price that Brown paid Walmart for a pair of designer boxers. But, Wakenya hatupendi ujinga.
It has not been made clear whether the event promoters will pay the fan an equivalent of the money she used to buy the phone.
The incident brings back to mind a similar incident by Congolese musician Koffi Olomide who was seen viciously kicking one of his female dancers at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
Koffi was greatly condemned and it ended with him being deported the following day despite a highly publicised show he was to perform at.
